The cabin was built in 1927 from wooden planks. It is located on a natural plot of approximately 900 m². It has retained much of its original character, including rose-painted details and a colorful interior.
Winter time!
We heat until the guests arrive, throughout the winter, during their stay guests must light their own firewood in the stove in the kitchen or fireplace/stove in the living room.
We have summer water, which means that between October and April there are 40 liters of water delivered in jugs, for drinking, food and simple hygiene.
There is no road to the cabin, the last 70 meters is a path in the forest, in winter (November – April) there can be 30 – 40 cm of snow and I would recommend good boots.
The path up can be difficult for people with mobility difficulties.
The cabin is located on the edge of the large forest, and the nearest shop is 6 kilometers away from the cabin, where there is also a pharmacy and most services.
Simple standard with outdoor toilet in a separate outbuilding (two seats and a nostalgic feel – with a picture of King Haakon, as it used to be)
With fire in the fireplace and oil lamps lit, you can enjoy a very special "off-grid" feeling - without TV or wifi, just silence and ambiance.

1st floor: Kitchen and living room
Kitchen equipped with standard equipment: stove/oven, refrigerator with freezer section, coffee pot and funnel, mixer and air fryer + various equipment and cutlery.
A wide selection of basic items.
2nd floor: Bedroom
The stairs up are 60 cm wide

Please note that the bedroom can get very hot in the summer - air conditioning is available and controlled with a remote control, this only works for cooling.
